This is the first and only biographical film that Dylan approved. While we all know that it doesn’t mean that he agrees with everything the movie interprets or depicts, I find it very interesting that he approved this but not Scorsese’s.

I was thinking about that as well. I think Dylan probably approved of the way that this film, in its abstract way, makes the audience guess about things and interpret the choices the writer and director made. Dylan, I’m guessing, likes that there are very enigmatic scenes/characters.
